Honda re-tested and has approved a replacement wire for that requirement:
Bohler Union X96 0.8mm MAG Welding Wire.

Bohler Union X96 0.8mm is Honda approved for high strength and ultra high strength steel welding procedures on 590-980 MPa steel parts

• MAG plug welding on up to 980 MPa steel parts
• Wire size is 0.8 mm

86928 Honda Approved MAG Weld Wire 980 MPa Steel – When MAG welding high strength steel (HSS), it is necessary to meet or exceed the panel tensile strength with the welding wire. This welding wire should be used when welding HSS between 500 MPa and 980 MPa (73 ksi and 142 ksi). Using a lower tensile strength welding wire will result in a weaker than intended weld joint resulting in an improper repair. This is the same mig wire that is compliant Honda.
